You’re Giving ‘Stuff’ Too Much Power (over you)

Stuff is everywhere. There’s always something new to buy, something we like, something we think would make our home better or our lives a little easier. And there’s nothing wrong with treating yourself or buying things you genuinely enjoy.
But sometimes stuff starts to have a little too much power over us. It not only affects our wallets, it can also affect our homes. More clutter, less space, overflowing closets, paying for storage, and constantly feeling like we need more. And for some people, it goes even deeper – buying and keeping things because of what they think it says about them or because they’re trying to keep up or impress other people.
At some point, it’s worth asking whether we’re enjoying our stuff or whether our stuff is starting to run the show.
In my latest YouTube video, I’m talking about how to stop giving your stuff so much power over you, and why wanting less can actually make life feel a whole lot lighter.
